The Catskill Gallery Association and the Green County Council on the Arts are pleased to announce the dates for the 2012 Annual Catskill Artists Studio & Gallery Tour! Join us the weekend of September 8 & 9, 2012, from 11 AM to 5 PM to visit over 20 different galleries, studios, museums, historic sites and gardens in a unique cross-cultural program that will involve a special group show opening and other receptions and special events.

Tour participants will be featured on the WAMC program Round Table on September 5, 10:30 AM! Tune in to hear participating artists and gallerists discuss the importance of local artists and cultural venues.
The list of participating artists and galleries has been finalized, including M Gallery; Open Studios; the Catskill Galleria; Brik; Gallery 42; Beattie Powers Place; the Greene County Council on the Arts; and the Thomas Cole National Historic Site. New artists are joining and new special locations will be featured on what promises to be our biggest and most exciting program yet!

WAMC appearance Sept. 5th
Artist Dan Burkholder, Tour Coordinator David V. Griffin, and Gallerist Frank Cuthbert will be featured Wednesday, September 5th, 10:30 AM, on the WAMC radio show Round Table, hosted by Jim Donahue. Join us for a discussion on this nationally acclaimed program as we address the impetus behind the tour and its significance in showcasing the creative work and cultural importance of the region’s galleries, museums and working artists.
